Durro
Member of Los Pueblos más Bonitos de España
Every June the men of Durro carry blazing pine torches down a winding path from the hermitage of Sant Quirc, a fire festival that once gave thanks for the harvest. The village lies at 1,384 m on the slopes of the Serra de Corruco in the Vall de Boí, a spread of traditional slate-roofed houses around a Lombard Romanesque church.
