Bagergue
Member of Los Pueblos más Bonitos de España
Highest of the Val d'Aran villages at 1,419 metres, Bagergue sits at the end of a road climbing from Salardú above the Unhòla river. Its 13th-century church of Sant Feliu keeps a Gothic Christ and a pre-Romanesque gravestone, while the Eth Corrau museum shows over 2,000 objects from valley life. An old path drops to the river past a flour mill, and the GR 211 climbs towards Baqueira Beret.
