Fishing boats still work from Tazones, a small port on the Asturian coast within the municipality of Villaviciosa, an area known for its apples and cider. It lies on the west side of the mouth of the Ría de Villaviciosa, the largest estuary in Asturias, and has a beach of its own beyond El Puntal.
