Cudillero
Member of Los Pueblos más Bonitos de España
Houses climb the slopes around Cudillero's harbour like the seats of an amphitheatre, and the fishing families here, the pixuetos, even have their own way of speaking. Boats still land the day's catch for auction each afternoon. Steep lanes lead up to a string of viewpoints, and a path from the old port runs out to the lighthouse above the cliffs.
