Passignano sul Trasimeno

On a promontory on the north shore of Lake Trasimeno, Passignano's walled old core climbs narrow lanes to the ruins of its Rocca, which now holds a museum of traditional lake boats. Down on the water, people come for sailing, windsurfing, rowing and a lakeside cycle path. Each July the Palio delle Barche replays the old rivalry between the Baglioni and Oddi families.
