Vogüé
Member of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France
A château and its terraced gardens rise straight above the Ardèche river here, among the limestone defiles of the middle valley. Vogüé was a busy railway junction until 1982, and the great viaduct of 1877 now carries the Via Ardèche greenway along the old line.
