Zuheros
Member of Los Pueblos más Bonitos de España
Built into the rock of the mountain itself, the castle of Zuheros watches over white lanes at the northwestern edge of the Sierras Subbéticas natural park. Lookout points around the village open onto the countryside, and a short drive away lies the Cueva de los Murciélagos, a deep cave where remains of earlier cultures have been found. Each year a cheese fair brings award-winning cheeses to town.
