Scarperia e San Piero

Scarperia, a Mugello borgo north of Florence, is known for knives made by family workshops. The village is now joined with San Piero a Sieve in a single municipality, whose countryside holds the Medici villa of Il Trebbio, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
