Mittelbergheim

Wine sets the rhythm in Mittelbergheim, on the Alsace Wine Route at the foot of the Crax hill, where vineyards produce the Grand Cru Zotzenberg. Narrow streets are lined with 16th-century Renaissance houses and old wine presses, and a vineyard trail climbs through the Zotzenberg. On clear days the Alps can be glimpsed from this low village, below the ruins of Andlau castle.
